Triceratops Frill - SOLD 8.54" Showcase

One of a Kind!

Triceratops was one of the last dinosaurs to appear in the Late Cretaceous. Like other members of the Ceratopsid family, these large quadrupeds sported bony frills, horns, and beak-like mouths.

This specimen is a 8.54" fossilized piece of a Triceratops Frill, recovered on private land in South Dakota from the Hell Creek Formation. It dates back over 64,000,000 years to the Cretaceous and is an iconic piece of the famous dinosaur. The frill ships in a sturdy shipping container and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
