Let Them Fight!
Earlier this year, a fossil taken from this area was analyzed and identified as belonging to a Mosasaur, an interesting find considering that most Mosasaur fossils come from further south. This discovery means that the terrifying sea reptile would have been a contemporary of it's land equivalent, the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Is it possible that they might have come to blows? Probably not, considering a difference in diet and habitat. Still though, a battle between these titans of land and sea is quite fun to think about!
