Hadrosaur Bone - 6.684" Fossil with Stand

The mighty hadrosaurs were some of the most successful herbivores of the Cretaceous Period. The "duck bills" these dinosaurs are known for were not actually beaks but hundreds of small teeth, helping them chew through even the toughest vegetation.

This specimen is a beautiful section of a Hadrosaur fossil bone, measuring 6.684" long. It was recovered on private land in South Dakota's Hell Creek Formation and dates to 66 million years ago. Included with the fossil is a metal display stand.
