Abraham Lincoln Beckett Encapsulated Handwriting Removed from an Autograph Letter Signed
Abraham Lincoln Beckett Encapsulated Handwriting Removed from an Autograph Letter Signed
Offered in extremely limited quantity—genuine handwriting from President Abraham Lincoln, authenticated and encapsulated by (BAS) Beckett Authentication Services. Each handwritten word was carefully removed from a legal document written by Lincoln in Illinois circa 1842, during his law partnership with Stephen T. Logan.
A limited edition item from our friends at CutWordCo, each order will include one Lincoln handwriting fragment selected from the dropdown menu. Each word in the dropdown menu is an actual word handwritten by Lincoln.
Each encapsulated word was individually removed from an 1842 legal document drafted in Lincoln’s own hand, referencing a note held by Logan and the collection of a debt owed to him. Handwriting is mounted to a custom card from our friends at CutWordCo and set in a standard-sized Beckett holder.
Genuine Lincoln autograph letters are extremely hard to come by and can fetch tens of thousands of dollars. This encapsulated word offers a rare and affordable opportunity to own an authentic piece of Lincoln’s handwriting.
