Pachycephalosaurus was a dinosaur known for its thick, domed skull, which could be up to 10 inches thick. This herbivore lived during the Late Cretaceous period, around 70 million years ago. Some scientists believe its unique skull may have been used in head-butting contests for mating or territorial disputes.
