Knight's Sword

The weapon of choice for knights in the middle ages, a sword of forged steel was deadly in capable hands. This particular specimen is a fragment of a sword dating to the late 13th / early 14th century CE. It is of a German style, described as Grans espeès d'Allemagne, or one of the "Big Swords of Germany."


Originally, part of the Fourth Edition of the Mini Museum, and in add-on form, this specimen is encased in a handsome, glass-topped riker case for easy viewing.
