Mount Fuji Bracelet - Mahogany Beads

Mount Fuji Bracelet - Mahogany Beads

At 3,776 meters (12,385 ft), Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan. This bracelet features a center bead crafted from material removed from the crater of the 1707 Hōei eruption by local stonecutters. By all measures, the Hōei eruption is the largest single eruption of Mount Fuji in recorded history.

Created and assembled here at Mini Museum, the volcanic bead is complemented by golden-sheen obsidian and offset by mahogany wood beads. The mahogany beads add a red-brown accent that is quite stunning.
